I can't stand Brad Pitt

Ok, so I’ve been wanting to write this blog for a little while. I haven’t written in a little while so here’s one to get ya by. I don’t care for Brad Pitt all that much. Thanks Brad, nice sentiment with the whole “I’m not going to marry Angelina ‘til gays can marry” and all, but save it. Too little too late. Back in February, I remember reading a blog stating that Brad Pitt has asked his agents to shop around for a gay role for him. Apparently, the Sun has him quoted as saying he “want[s] a piece” of the success of Brokeback Mountain. Guess what Brad, you played Achilles! You know, Achilles, from the Iliad; that really big book by Homer. Don’t you remember getting all upset and everything when your COUSIN Patroclus was killed by Hector. Oh, hang on a second, Patroclus wasn’t your cousin, he was your lover. Or at least that’s how history remembers him. But what did Homer know, or the Greeks, or all those historians. The Great Brad Pitt didn’t want to “play gay” for an epic like Troy so he changed one of the greatest stories of human history. But now that Heath and Jake have portrayed a gay couple on the big screen with what seems like warms welcomes instead of the backlash you were afraid of, you “want a piece!” TOO BAD! True Brad, you are extremely attractive and I probably wouldn’t kick you out of bed, but come on, grow a pair and stop playing the safe role that push the old boundaries.
